Can I update the content of my site?
Yes.  Once the site has gone live we hand over to you, but you can always ask us for help at any time.

Can I integrate my existing website with your content management software?
Yes, this can be done via two methods:

  • The simplest is that we provide an Iframe to your website designers.  This is a sort of window from our software into your website.  This includes tools for applicants to register directly back into the software.

  • The second is that we provide an XML feed from our software to web site host.

What content can I manage using your software?
The software will manage both the static content of your website, such as a contact us page and the dynamic content, such as property listings and searches.  It will also provide tools for logging applicant requirements, requesting viewings and requesting further information.

Are your websites cross browser compliant?
Yes. We also manually test each site against all versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.

I already have a website design.  Can Caldes use this to create a website for me?
Yes.  We very much welcome working with other designers.  Caldes have a comprehensive design guide that provides a simple yet flexible structure that we know works well.  This takes in to account the need to display properties and menus in a clear format.  Please contact us for a copy of the 'Caldes Website Design Guide'.

Do Caldes have in-house website designers?
Whilst they are not located in our offices, Caldes work closely with a local design company that knows the way we work and the requirements of a property website.  This allows them to focus on innovative design, whilst keeping Caldes informed of progress.  Once the design phase is signed off, Caldes get to work on building the site.  Our designers can also provide deisgn and print for logos, business cards, brochures and letter headed paper.

    Can Caldes create Flash movies?
Yes, but remember that Flash movie content is not search engine friendly.

Will my website be search engine friendly?
Yes.  We have been very careful to ensure that all relevent content is made available to Google and other search engines.  We even include an automatic site-map for users, which can be registered with Google.

Can Caldes help us with website advertising, such as Google Adwords?
Yes, we can offer free advice on this.

Can my site hits be tracked?
Yes your site can include analytics.

    Who hosts my site?
Caldes will normally host the site on our powerful web servers and database servers, hosted in a secure top tier hosting location.  We will need to contact your current ISP to get the site moved.  Normally you will continue with your existing email hosting but we can also host email if required.

    How much does this cost?
Typical prices from £500 to £5,000, plus competitive hosting charges.  This includes professional website design, build, content management software and full back-office integration.

Can you provide other design services / print services, such as property particulars and headed paper?
In collaboration with our designers, we can also provide a fully integrated design service including branding and logo design and even supply full art work for headed paper, brochures and literature.

Can Caldes integrate my existing software with a new website?
Unfortunately we don't work with other companies software, just our own.  We know how it works and we can guarantee a good result.

Is there a service level agreement?
Yes.  We have an unblemished track record, monitored by an independent company stretching back many years at 99.99%+
